Let wedding bells ring

Goodness, it's been a while since I've had a chance to update this thing. It's not a driving need for me anymore, which I suppose is a good thing. There's something to be said for privacy.

Having said that, I did want to let the world know that I'm engaged as of about a month ago, and the wedding will be on the evening of June 4. (Ahem, that was for anyone coming from out of state...)

It's still hard to believe sometimes. I suppose I thought I'd never get married. People always told me it would happen when I wasn't expecting it, but I figured that was everyone else's story. Fine surprise that it's my story, too.

I'm looking down at a diamond ring on my left hand and am in the midst of wedding plans... all related to a man who, among other things, will stay. I've always wanted a man who would stay.

In other news, I've been working in a multiple needs special ed classroom for the past month, and I may be hired for a permanent position in that school. More news on that later, as I haven't had any news myself in the past few days.

I'm getting internet in my home tomorrow, so I won't be as disconnected as I have been. There's just no way to plan this wedding without it. So, till next time... adios.
