it's too late for titles.

Tom had a doctor's appointment today. The doctor suspected a blood clot was causing the pain in his leg, so he sent Tom to the hospital, where I met him in the cardiology department. They found that he did indeed have a blood clot, and they admitted him. He'll be there until tomorrow night or Sunday morning. I tried to stay the night, but around midnight I realized I wasn't going to get any sleep in that chair. No sense rendering myself useless for him tomorrow.

This is the first night we've spent apart since we got married.

There really isn't anything to worry about; he's not in any danger. Thankfully they found this before it moved to a dangerous spot. I just have to remind myself of that when I get that lumpy feeling in my throat.

In other news, my school district still thinks I'm a substitute teacher and has underpaid me for about four months now. Human resources didn't even know about my current position- further proof of my former administrator's incompetence. Thank God for the new administrator, and may the district remedy the back pay.
